KNR Sisters is a feminist consulting venture that provides high-level advice and guidance on initiatives to advance gender justice, defend democracy and protect human rights across the globe. KNR Sisters is named to recognize how lacking our world is in honouring the feminine principle - there are many firms of brothers and sons, but few of daughters or sisters.
We work extensively with the philanthropic and nonprofit sector, drawing on experience with institutions that include the Open Society Foundations, Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Stanford University, MADRE, Grist, and the Global Fund for Women. Our focus includes work to strengthen and diversify staff and board leadership, including tailored coaching and mentoring; craft inclusive and intersectional program strategies; catalyze creative fundraising and resource mobilization; and to provide domain expertise on selected research and implementation projects.
